Complex situation indeed. Just what is the resolution of a system relying on bayer interpolation on 3480 pixels ... or, perhaps, less for a Scarlet? (And of course many effects sequences are currently undertaken at 4k before downsampling.)

But you leave unchallenged the potentially misleading line from the original post, "Considering that this shoots higher resolution than 32mm film (around 2k resolution) it was a BIG deal", picking up only on the correction. Surprising!

None of this is new of course, so maybe it's good to let it go.
