intermittent red timecode numbers in RED CINE
by Chris Bell on Oct 31, 2009 at 9:44:39 pm

Shot a job yesterday at 29.97, RC36, 4K HD, sound. In Red Cine, every second or so the time code numbers turn red for one frame. Have not seen this before. What does mean? I processed out the footage and it looks fine.

Shooting more tests this morning, at 29.97 3K and 2K RC28. Testing 48 fps and 100 fps. Still seeing 3-4 frames turn red in the timecode. Processed out the footage and it looks fine.

Advice welcome.
