[Jonathan Alberts] "I know the faster the processor the faster it will be but say i had an 8-core macpro 2.66 processor shooting 4K 16:9 and using RED RUSHES to go to Prores Proxy or Prores LT....or to DNxHD 36/115 "

This really depends on what type of debayer you do. Full debayer is insane render times. Half high would probably put you at about 4-7 fps. Half Standard would probably get you around 6-9 fps.

But it also depends on how you set up the cores of the computer. Is this one of the new computers that can do hypertheading? (Nehalem?)

I'll just add that the REDRocket is very cool:)
