RED Files to AppleProRes HQ in Final Cut
by Anna Prebluda on Jun 26, 2009 at 4:50:25 pm

Hi-

I am using Log and Transfer in Final Cut Pro 6.06 to convert RED files shot at 4KHD, 23.98 to AppleProRes HQ files. When i open up the .R3D file in Red Alert everything looks great. When I open up the ApplePro Res file I created through Log and Transfer there seems to be a blue wash on everything (especially in the whites). Has anyone else had this problem? I am experiencing this with footage from many different projects- so i don't think it has anything to do with how it was shot or lit- although any suggestions on how to trouble shoot would be MUCH appreciated.

Thanks!
