Well, it depends to which degree you need to see detail during offline. Focus is much more critical on the Red than on an ordinary video camera. If the footage has been checked before, you can offline very well even with 1/4 debayer and DVCProHD as a lightweight codec.
But if you need to compare focus from several takes during edit decisions you may need more resolution.
