Eliminating distortions from Betacam-footage
by Heiner Boeck (heinavesi) on Apr 6, 2008 at 7:16:57 am

Hi: With my Final Cut Pro, I am often using old Betacam-footage from my archives. Problem: Some of this old analog beta-stuff shows all kinds of distorsions like blotches, sparks, dropouts and so on.
Does anybody know about an effective software (working with Final Cut, of course) which might help to eliminate such faults?

I know there is this extremely good "The Pixelfarm"-program - but at the moment I do not have 12.000 bucks to buy it.
So, maybe somebody comes up with some other solution...???
Thanks: Heiner from Finland
