Firestore FS-100 Quicktime PN

Hi,
I just upgraded my Firestore FS-100 to version 4, and I have a few questions about shooting in the Quicktime PN mode.
I normally shoot with a Panasonic HVX200 in DVCPROHD P2 format. I want to use the FS-100 REELS to organize my clips but found that the REELS function does not work with P2.
The folks at Focus suggested that I use the Quictime PN mode, which will give me the same quality as P2 and then I will be able to organize the reels. I tested this and it worked.
My questions are:
1. How do I name the clips something other that the FS-100 crazy naming conventions?
2. Will I be able to log and transfer this way or do I need to just drag the folder containing the clips to my drive and then import to FCP6?
3. Is the quality the same?
4. What quirky things should I be aware of in this mode?
We have a big shoot next week and are thinking of using this mode but do not want to have any problems.
Thanks,
Laura Gruszczynski
