Video embedded in PDF ... which data-rate?
by David Gudelius on Jul 26, 2008 at 2:08:40 pm

Hi guys,

I have to prepare a short movie clip for embedding into a PDF.

My original footage has 768x576 pixels, 25fps, progressive and 16 seconds.
The client's specifications are: Quicktime H.264, "fast start" and "prepared for streaming". Sound codec has to be AAC.

I don't know wether the clip is being shown fullscreen in the final PDF or not.
What data-rate and compression settings would you recommend?
What assures me the best playback performance?

Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you very much in advance!

Cheers, David
