Copy/Paste Question

I have a template I set up in SVP 11. The template has some video of the intro that'll proceed each of my videos, along with the audio jingle, and a lower-thirds that will appear over the person speaking.

In another project, I created and edited a video of someone speaking. I have other video tracks as well.

What is the best way to copy and paste those in the second project into the first (template) project?

Is it best to insert the number of video/audio tracks in the template project that are in the second project, and then simply copy the audio/video tracks from the second project into the template?

I hope that wasn't too confusing!
