"render as" for a 5min video into powerpoint presentation

hi all, have a 5min hd 1080p file edited (from my sony z7), client needs it to be inserted into powerpoint presentation, and played back at best quality possible - pc is a new dell laptop, which will be runinng a hdmi lead to a plasma, they do not want to run the file from mediaplayer or dvd...but dont want it crashing or running slowly either !

need to get this finished by tomorrow, and thoight it would be easiest to ask here rather than spend all night trialling different codecs, vbr, cbr etc !

on this topic still - is there a site anywhere which gives you recommendations for certain types of file exports, ie for vimeo, youtube, for download etc?
