As you realise by now Joao, its not called channels, its Tracks
or Timeline, thats why your question was a little confusing.

John Bolton explained beautifully exactly what you need to do
to have everything zooming in at the same time, even making the
parent track 3D for a smoother process, its for you
now to practice on that and get the desired effect you want,
do some reading on Parent and Child Composits in Vegas.
