Open caption creation using Vegas 11

I have several DVDs with closed captions encoded. When I import the VOB using Vegas DVD camcorder disk and add the SCC files the OVERLAY selection in the preview provides me with captions in my preview window. How can I render that captioned video to a WMV resulting in open captions for my client?

I am aware of Vegasaur, not really the same look.. and a lot more work. I've tried screen capturing with so so results. Usually screen caps don't like to do 30 fps. Has anyone written a script to make this happen? Is there an easier way to do this?
