Error loading a plug-in.

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction here.
Recently, upon opening very recent (and only very recent) projects in Vegas Pro 11, a window pops up stating that an error has occurred. It continues that 'the plug-in(s) specified are not installed on this system'. When I click 'details' I get one line;-

{FE9C7E25-2114-4FB0-B127-7555D8298263} - Media Generator

Since I don't have any plug-ins installed (poor me!) I am at a loss what to do next. I have searched for the file, I have checked each of the plug-ins for something similar and I have reinstalled VP11 (latest build).

For a change I think I have cocked up rather than Sony, ha ha.
