Hello, thanks for the quick reply.

I tried Lagarith codec as suggested somewhere in the net (don't remember where) but files ar WAY too big.
I don't mind (everything has a limit) big files, I have a lot of space now, but the problem is that I usually record like 3-4 hours of gameplay, and I think that would eat like 500Gb, and that is simply too large.

I've been reading some more in the net, and found out that problem with AVI files in vegas (apart from the XviD/DivX problem) are that are usually compressed too much, and vegas don't like that. I'm not recording my screen, I don't play on PC. I play in a videogame console, the output (Y/Pb/Pr) splits in two and one output goes to my screen and another one to the USB capture card, if that helps.

BTW I should have said that the video contains some blood and violence scenes. Sorry.
