I actually have 12.3, but like I said I have GPU acceleration turned off. Also, I should mention that I've been using the glow effect in combination with masking. When I just use the effect by itself it doesn't seem to cause a crash. But rather than focus on the effect I just want to know why this program is so unstable in general. If this keeps up I may just go back to 9 or 10.

I'll upgrade to 12.4 and try turning on gpu acceleration again.
