Hi;
Been testing SVP 11 for a few days now. Noticed it was about twice as slow to render as SVP 10. Then I glanced at my trusty Process Explorer graph on the systray and noticed that the CPU was not spiked at 100% the way it is with SVP 10.
Even though in the main options GPU was off (in fact the option to turn it on is missing), in the Custom properties for the render template it was at the default of Auto. This was making SVP11 try to use the GPU on my old and slow nVidia card, and that GPU is not nearly as capable as my quad-core Xenon.
So, I set it for CPU only, and now my renders are about as fast as SVP10, and about 2x faster than with the GPU option on.
Just thought that people with old computers like mine might be interested ...
