Constant crashes with Vegas Pro 11 on Windows 7 64 bit

I need only get a background add a boris continuum clouds effect and a Sony lightrays effect and Baaaam! It goes crashing. All the time.

It's not only with these effects other normal type of working gets the same sorry ending.

I had SVP 10 working great with no issues whatsoever.

Any ideas where I should start resolving this issue.

Thanks in advance for anyone helping me out. Presently I do not even dare starting a couple of projects in this environment. Surely not before sorting out these issues.

What bugs me is the amount of money I have already invested in this and I cannot even do anything. Dang!
