Thanks for your mature information.
My point with other software is that a plenty of reviews (like this
http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/) are positioning Vegas in the last rankings.
So, Vegas weren’t my first choice. But after spending little yet – but intensive – time using Vegas Platinum, it became my choice for sure! The software fits everything I want. And the others, after using as well really “are squarely consumer packages”, as you had pointed out.
I think there will be much to learn and share and this Vegas user community will be my place since now!!!
