H.264 wont import audio in Sony Vegas pro 9.
by Kevin Smith on Nov 6, 2009 at 8:01:59 am

Hey, I use a Hauppauge HD PVR to record video game footage and to get the best quality I'm using a MP4 format, which shows up as a H.264 into Sony Vegas. The audio stream is a AAC endcoder and plays fine with audio in QT and when I upload to youtube, but when I try to import it the whole audio stream is missing. Any suggestions to get the audio stream to import with the video into Sony Vegas? I have never had this issue.

If it helps at all, when I record in a MT2S format the audio imports fine, its just the MP4 (H.264) format that messes it up.

Thanks in advance.
