Create your title in BT. When you render it out to the size you want use Uncompressed avi with transparency (PNG with transparency will work too but you need to import it as a series of stills). Save the file. Open Vegas. Find your saved file from BT and bring it into Vegas. Place it on the uppermost track. (Now heres the secret) Right click the title event and chose properties and then media and then 'turn on' the alpha channel - probably premultiplied dirty and click OK. Voila your title is superimposed over thee lower tracks.
