joining two chromatte screens with chromatte tape

Has anyone tried joining two 8 x 8 reflecmedia (http://www.reflecmedia.com/) chromatte chromakey fabric screens with chromatte tape to form one big (16 x 8) greenscreen background?

You can get two 8 x 8 screens cheaper than one 16 x 9 foot screen, but I don't know if taping them together is really a workable solution.
