The easiest way to render in sections that I have found, is to place Regions around each section that you want to render. Then double-click the top of the timeline for the first region to make it a loop selection. Then render using the "Render loop region only" option. Once that's complete, highlight the next region in the same way (by making it a loop selection) and render that. Continue until all regions are rendered.
