Audio Problem -Maybe Tape Drop Out? How Can I Fix?
by Mike Sullivan on Apr 7, 2009 at 1:10:42 am

I don't know if there's a fix for this but if there is I figured someone in this group would know the answer.

I was videotaping a musical play with semi-pro actors this weekend. When I got home and reviewed the tape there were small places in the audio that weren't there. The audio would be playing fine and then no audio for like 1 second, then it would come back on for a few seconds and disappear again for a second.

This problem went on intermittently for the first 20 minutes or so of the tape. The picture had no problems at all.

Would there be anyway to somehow fill those blank spots?

This being a musical and this happening while they're all singing away makes these audio gaps even more noticeable.

I guess I need a miracle to fix this. Anyone got one for me?

Thanks,
Mike
