Importing SWF file into Vegas Pro 8

Hoping to get some help with importing swf files into Vegas
First, I create a flash animation in SwishMax 2 (1920x1080, 30fps) and export it as a .swf file (flash 5)
then,
I create a new project in Vegas (1920x1080, 29.97fps) and add a raw clip from my Canon HF10 camera (AVCHD .mts file) onto the timeline.
When I add the .swf file to overlay, it appears to be about 1/10th of its original size, and it also appears in the upper-left of the overall project frame.
Any help would be most appreciated!
