Trimmer won't play

Trimmer won't play

I've been having some problems with Vegas ever since updating to 8.0c. The Trimmer won't playback when I press play or hit the spacebar or L key.

The play button appears to be pressed down, but the cursor doesn't move. It will only begin to play through the video if I hit the Skip Backward or Skip Forward button inside the trimmer.

Any idea if this is related to the new Trimmer features, or could it just be a Vista 64 issue? Unfortunately all my computers are Vista 64, so I can't check if that's what's the cause.
