Display Problem
by

On a recent boot up my monitor display went black just after the Windows Startup logo screen appeared. Repeated attempts got the same result. I reinstalled the recommended Nvidia display drivers, but got the same result. After several attempts I just deleted the Nvidia drivers and let Windows default to whatever generic drivers are loaded. The system display returned although display performance is slower. Any suggestions?
System: EVGA 132-CK-NF78 Mobo, Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 proc, PNY Nvidia Quadro FX 1500 Pro Video Card, 4gb ram. Monitor is NEC Multisync 90 CRT. Window XP Pro. Vegas Pro 8.0c.
Any Help would be appreciated.
Thanks, August
