Try this. Import media, drop the type down and select any, all files. then point to the DVD and import the VOB files, and then save the project to your hard drive as Vegas will try to play the files from the DVD otherwise. As far as the 5.1 dolby audio, I am not sure if Vegas will decode an AC3 file into six seperate tracks. May need a AC3 decoder. Danny Hays
