Joseph,
Thanks for the response. Please expand on the meaning of one of your references: "machine time is expensive". Are they using a machine (as opposed to software) that is inherently superior to Vegas (I assume that's why they use the "machines"). Also, I have most of your Vegas videos, but haven't viewed all of them yet: which one best explains how to keep the bits as similar to the camera's output as possible? I'm doing a doc that might be broadcast on TV and I want it to look primo (should I pay a high end house to render it?)
