Hi,

Is "lock envelopes to events" turned on?

Another solution: after the insert, a post-edit ripple all tracks... etc could help (ctrl-shift-F is the shortcut).
That should move everything accordingly after an insert or delete.

At least it works on Vegas 6 ;))
