Steve,

You caught my attention with the statement, "and other impressive surprises will soon be hear for us all." With that in mind. What would be your specifications be for a new editing platform that would be ready for things to come? My current system has the Athlon 64 3800, Asus A8N Sli, 2meg mem, and the Nvidia Quadro FX1700. Also, would you buy it or build it? Your recommendations would help in my planning.
Anyone else's input would also be appreciated.
