Hang in there, we'll get your vegas running yet! Hopefully ;-)))

Anyway sorry but I don't know anything about Vista, however in reference to the Corel stuff, I'm sure in your control panel - add/remove programs, there's got to be a reference to Corel and the Codec.

You do have a control panel and an add/remove programs folder don't you? No I'm not being funny, I just don't know Vista.

As a last resort, you might consider using your recovery disk and start all over, installing Vegas first and staying away from Corel until you know for sure it won't conflict with Vegas.
