MP4s over 2gb not importing

Just got a Sanyo HD1000 a few days ago, shot my first few long clips (over 30 minutes, file sizes around 3.5gb), and the clips won't import into Vegas. I just get an error that the file cannot be opened.

Any ideas? Shorter clips have all played back fine.
