DVD Architect won't burn to DVD-R
by Brian Ross on May 28, 2008 at 1:15:12 pm

Hi,
I'm a Newbe here.
I was unable to find this in the archives.

I have a client that has an older DVD player.
I figured I would take the precaution of burning his project to a DVD-R for maximum compatibility. Or so I thought.

I'm using DVD Architect 4.5c on a Sony Vaio with a SONY DVD RW DW-Q28A KFS1 drive, and Maxell DVD-R's.

I can burn data files using Roxio onto the DVD-R's
But when I try to burn a Vidio project using DVD Architect, it says that the DVD is not compatible with the drive.

DVD+R's do fine.

I've tried several drive settings all to no avail.

Any suggestions?

-Brian
