Video FX Recommendations

I'm relatively new to Vegas (8.00). Previously i used Prem 6.5 which worked well for SD, but now I'm beginning to use HDV. I'm looking for recommendations for 3D motion effects plugins to use for intros and titles. I have Canopus 4.0 Xplode which I like, but which, I understand, won't work with Vegas (True?).

Any experiences you care to share would be greatly appreciated.
