Hi,
Focus on the technical contents rather than the vendor.
I'd choose an intel based motherboard, as much memory as possible (4GB is enough however), and a quadcore (e.g. Q9300) processor will do it.
You don't need a powerful videocard, but an integrated one drops system performance, since it uses the main memory.
So you should take a real videocard, but it can be the cheapest, does not matter, unless you don't use something that could be boosted by opengl or directx.
I'd put a RAID0 with at least 2 pieces of at least 320GB disks for video files, and another small HDD for the system.
Of course you'll need a DVD burner, or blue-ray is the way you want to go? ;))
Regards
K.L.
