How to set the Project Properties

Hi guys. I'm using Sony Vegas 8 in editing my .m2t video files from my HDR-SR7 Camcorder.

I have a question about the Project properties!

I just want to know what these terms mean:
_ Progressive Scan
_ UpperLower Field first
_Pixel aspect ratio
_Out put rotation
_Motion blur type
_Deinterlace method

And which option I should use for each one..!!

Any help is highly appreciated
