Moving a group of pieces of video on different tracks

HI. What I'm trying to do is move several bits of video scattered all throughout different tracks. What I want to do is bring them ALL back a couple of seconds so that I can attach them to another piece of video. What I do now is I "select events to end" on one track and the ctrl-click on the additional pieces on the other tracks and drag them all...is there a quicker way, like select all events from this point on (all tracks)?
