video pass-through device besides DV cam? (on video card, maybe?)

So I've finally got a powerful box to dedicate solely to editing. (Yay!) But I have a couple more things to do to get going:

* I still have to get a Firewire interface card for it.
* I expect to eventually want a video card that can drive 2 monitors.
* I'd like to also drive a TV for external preview without using my camcorder as a pass-through, if that's possible.

Can anyone recommend a smart & economical choice of peripherals here?
Is there a wonder-card that'll do it all?
