It sounded like it did run on PC1 right - as otherwise how did you setup the network shares and the link to the other render host (on PC2). In any case... i don't think that's where your issue is (very easy to rule this out anyway). It sounds like the PC2 NR got the job and it failed for some reason. The detailed log may very well tell you what went wrong. Have you looked at that? (I can't remember where they are.... they may be in Documents and SettingsApplication DataSony etc etc)
