Re: Interesting article - iPhones are the best?

I had to chuckle at some of the people's remarks, like the guy that said that he's on his fourth iPhone and all of them have been a LOT of trouble and fail constantly.

Kathlyn and I each have 3G iPhones and they have been flawless. Our 1st generation iPhones also were flawless. The only things we didn't like about the first generation was the email program and the dropped calls. I was used to Verizon with whom we never had any dropped calls. But AT&T is notorious for dropped calls whether you use an iPhone or anything else on their system.

With the four that we have owned, all have worked well. The two older ones we gave to our kids and they are still working just fine.

In the end, I don't care if Nokia, Motorola or Samsung makes the best phones in the world. All I care about is that the one I buy works well. Using that yardstick, I find that the iPhone has been an amazingly reliable phone.

Now the AT&T network, that is another story altogether.

Best regards,

Ron Lindeboom
