Re: Why would I want to delete my videos after playing?

Then, I'm guessing, there is no way to turn off this annoying "feature" to my $600 device?

I respectfully disagree with you, Tony, I believe the rule should be it's mine and I should be able to do what I wish with my video. Simply because you don't feel it should be stored on there, doesn't mean other people share that opinion. I know what it's doing and why. I was hoping for a way to turn it off, is all.

It is billed as an "ipod" device, which to me implies a similarity in function to an iPod. It doesn't ask me to delete my audio when I'm done listening to it, nor my phone numbers once I've called them, nor my bookmarks once I've visited them, nor my photos once I've viewed them. Seems to me that those are my 8GBs to do with as I please.

Makes me think of Microsoft Word... That obscenely bloated app with sooo many features to help me type a simple word document. Most of which I turned off because they were getting in my way more than they were helping me. I'm a pretty bright guy. I can certainly plan and allocate 8GB of storage space all by myself.

Dan...
