hey zane,
i have tried itunes, and for me it is a mediocre mp3 player - pc products like winamp and media monkey are better mp3 players for me, and for music library, i use catraxx, a gazillion times more powerfull than winamp, itunes or any player - but thats for a library.

i like to keep my offline mp3 files on a hard drive and drag and drop folders to the mp3 player as i want, so each folder contains properly tagged audio files, with text files to read while listening (which is why i would want html instead) and some other album art to view full screen while listening too. This way it is neat and tidy and could not be easier to manage, just drag and drop a folder, with no need for any clunky syncing of all the bits and pieces contained in the folder to special places on the mp3 player... text goes here, images go there, music goes here, video goes here...

reason for offline html is poor phone coverage in the uk on my train line, tunnels, the underground, and the fact i will almost certainly not use O2 as my provider, so would hack the iphone if i got one, so it may not be "on all the time"
