"Missing features in iPhone" List

I have to say how odd it is that Apple "gets" some of the tough things right and then totally blows the easy things.

I'd like to hear other people's suggestions for obvious changes to the iPhone software. Version 2.0 doesn't seem to have addressed more than one or two shortcomings. Here's a few to start the list:

1) The new iPhone still doesn't have voice dialing... a feature that most free phones have.

2) In Calendar, appointments are represented by a single dot. Most phones have the mark represent the proportionate amount of the day that this appointment represents. That way you can tell at a glance, which days are the most booked. On the iPhone you have to manually explore each dot. Clicking on the day only displays the start time. Why not display both the start and the stop time?

3) The only way to have a single entry span several days is to make it an all-day event... meaning you have to give up showing the actual time (say 9-2).

Given that the other manufacturers are starting to respond to the iPhone, I think Apple needs to fill in the obvious holes... perhaps we can gather the most popular and forward them to Apple...
