Assistant Final Cut Pro and/or Avid editor looking for work in Chicago

My name is Christie Wessling. I am currently the Director of Video
Productions at a magic video production company in Las Vegas where I am responsible for all the production and post production. While this is a great entry level position, I am ready to move on to a job that will allow me to grow as an editor and improve on my skills. I also am ready to return to my true home, Chicago.

I graduated from Illinois State University in May 2007 with a degree in Mass Communications with a focus in TV Production and Cinema Studies. At ISU I was a videographer and editor for TV-10 news. After graduating I completed an internship as an Assistant Avid Editor for the Multimedia Services at the College of DuPage. Currently, I work with Final Cut Studio and Adobe Premiere. I am a quick learner, have a good eye for detail, am organized, flexible, reliable, motivated, enjoy working with people, and am extremely anxious to learn.
