Where to start out?

Hello there. I just finished my freshman year in college. Now I'm looking for some summer work. I'll Probably just end up working at walmart or something like that, but I would love to do a little side work with any kind of AAE work. just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or stories that might help out.
I am also fairly good with Sony Vegas.
