Editor for Short-term Project -- LA
by

New Media Productions/Legal Publishing, a Los Angeles based production company, seeks editor for immediate, short-term project. (NMP/LP has several projects in pre-production and development. Excellent opportunity to affiliate with dynamic company. If you’re good, we will use you again!)
Project consists of editing approximately four hours of HD footage to create an editing timeline, identify and edit around duplicative and/or damaged footage and related tasks necessary to prepare the footage for preliminary and final review by the producers. Compensation for project: $300.
Final Cut Studio (version 2 with Final Cut 6+) software required. Strong knowledge of Final Cut Pro also required. Working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop a plus. Must be available to start immediately and work from home using your own equipment and software (the video assets will be delivered via hard drive for editing). The footage to be edited is in ProRes 422. A RAID storage device is not required but you must have a computer system capable of editing approximately four hours of HD footage.
Interested candidates should e-mail their resume (and links to editing reels, if possible) to contact@newmedialegal.com. Students encouraged to apply. Thanks.
