AUSTIN Crew Call

WAITING ROOMS, a feature-length independent film, is looking for dedicated crew members. We will film in Austin during the first three weeks of June, and will need a talented crew for production (and a few immediately for pre-production).

We are hiring for the following positions:

Hair Stylist
*Makeup Artist
Location Scouts
Key Grip
Lighting Technician
Sound Mixer
Boom Operator
Camera Assistant
3rd AD
Production Assistants
Runners

There is a very limited budget, and our crew positions are largely unpaid, with the primary exception being those that need to pay for their supplies (such as the makeup artist). We will provide on-set experience, meals, credit, and an exciting work atmosphere.

*Makeup Artist - this film takes place over a long timeline. Several characters will age considerably; one loses a battle with cancer. We need someone with experience aging, particularly with prosthetics. We will find a way to compensate the right person.
