morph shot needed in arty short film
by Joost Zoetebier on Nov 11, 2009 at 2:48:31 pm

A while ago I shot an arty short about film making and how the advent of the digital age is changing this process. It features an actress doing a two minute monologue standing in front of a green screen.

One particular shot in the film is a close-up of the actress facing the camera with her left cheek. I want to do a morph from that shot into a similar close-up looking straight into camera. It should not be a "linear morph" though, the look that I hope to achieve is almost as if someone is peeling her skin from her right cheek to her left cheek, revealing the same face again.

The closest reference clip I have is this clip from The Matrix, where an agent is taking over a helicopter pilot (00:07 - 00:12) :

Not exactly the same, but it toys with the same idea, a face protruding / overtaking another face.

Unfortunately this is an unpaid job. I am looking for someone who wants to contribute to this arty short film and who would be interested in the creative challenge of making the morph happen.

Cheers,

Joost
