Episode unhandled exception errors
by Yann Heckmann on Oct 30, 2009 at 11:49:44 pm

Hi, I've installed the recent Episode update, but there is still a problem when trying to resize certain clips:

I have received an uncompressed mov file from color grading (format: "none") and it's header/wrapper (not an expert in these matters) was set so that the clip which is actually 1920x1080 would show up as 960x540 when the clip information was received by Finder etc. . Now, when trying to resize this clip in Episode, the software gave me all sorts of error messages and refused to complete the batch job (resizing to 960x540, 640x360 and 480x270). So I thought it might have to do with the clip metadata, took it into FCP and rendered out a reference file with the correct settings (1920x1080), but Episode still gives me the same errors after a while.

Does anyone have similar problems and maybe a good workaround?

Cheers,
Yann
