Converting 1080i HDV - audio sync
by Scott Bush on Oct 27, 2009 at 4:06:46 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to convert some 1080i HDV footage to 720p Prores quicktime mov using episode 5.2.1.
The video looks great, but the audio goes about 2 seconds out of sync, despite the fact that I have it set to "copy" the audio track directly (no re-encode). I have no changes to frame rate either, just setting the frame size from 1080i (HDV pixels) to 720p square pixels.

I have also tried re-encoding the audio but get the same exact offset. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Scott
